The People and History of Lewis
New permanent museum displays telling the stories of the history and people who live and work in the Outer Hebrides. A huge lightbox wall features inset plasma screens and a cut out outline of the islands. Exhibits include the Lewis Chessmen and artifacts from their fishing and weaving heritage.
